I can’t remember a time when I haven’t created things – be it from fabric, junk, clay, paint, you name it! As a profession I translated this into being a Wardrobe Supervisor. With a degree in Costume for the Stage and Screen I design and make costumes for theatre. In my spare time my creativity flows through embroidery, fibre arts, clothing and accessories.
Salvaged Mutiny is my way of getting my ideas out into the world. I am an artist at heart and work with any materials I can get my hands on. Mixed Media art is my passion – though it took me a while to realise it! I collect things that I find – visually and physically - and turn them into something beautiful; a continuing memory of my journey through the world.
